New Brighton River Retreat

This sweet little fibroshack on Bundjalung country, nestled amongst the trees overlooking Marshalls Creek in New Brighton,  needed an some serious love.  We respected the confines of the original floor plan, whilst thoughtfully reconfiguring the layout to maximise storage, light & the stunning vista. 

Our brief was to give a humble & modern makeover, that would seamlessly blend the influence of Japanese aesthetics with a 60’s feel, a bit of quirkiness, to create a beautiful & unique home.  Pastel tones dominated our pallet, resulting in a serene but playful space.
